A 2012 graduate of Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Mich., Fischer led the Rangers to team state titles in 2009 and 2011 and a runner-up finish in 2012. He placed among the top 10 individuals twice.
Fischer spent a year at Ashford University before turning pro in 2016.
He won the Elkhart, Ind., City Championship in 2013 and now resides in South Bend, Ind., where he trains to join the Web.com tour.
His favorite course is the Dunes Club in New Buffalo, Mich., and is most comfortable with a putter in his hands.
Fischer's favorite sports teams include the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Cubs, Michigan State Spartans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
